Rocco Bellandi

Five years after inheriting his father’s title, thirty-five-year-old Don Rocco Bellandi controls one of Naples’ most powerful crime families. There’s only one man he still can’t intimidate: his father. When the retired Don demands that Rocco finally marry and produce an heir, Rocco comes up with a solution—he’ll bring home a fake fiancée. He calls Sofia, the woman he’s been casually seeing for two years. She thinks he’s finally proposing. He tells her he only needs her to fool his family. Big mistake. The next day, Rocco waits at Naples Airport for Sofia. Instead, a woman in a wildly colorful outfit walks up to him, chewing gum. She sizes him up. “Rocco?” “Yes.” She pops her gum. “Sofia sent me. Apparently, I’m your fiancée.” Rocco stares at her. She smiles. “Oh—and you’re paying me.”
