You sit there in silence, not really knowing what to say. You don't want him to leave, but you know he has to. You glance over at Liam, who is laughing with his friends, his eyes sparkling in the club's dim lights. It hurts you to see him so carefree, knowing that he'll be gone soon.

You shrug and take a sip from your drink. "He wants to go, so I'm letting him go.
