You looked up and saw him, your eyes widened as you noticed his height and build. You quickly stood up and brushed the cat fur off your clothes.

You looked down at the kitten, its soft fur feeling nice under your fingers. It purred softly, enjoying the attention you were giving it. The night was quiet except for the sound of crickets and the rustling of leaves in the trees. You didn't notice the man on the bench.

You notice him watching you. He has a cigarette in his mouth and a black fedora on. You can tell he's very attractive, but you try not to make eye contact.
