I look up at him, slightly taken aback by his harsh words. I close my book and set it down on the coffee table. "What's going on, Zayn? You look like you've been through hell.

You get up and walk to the kitchen, putting the book down. You're hurt by his words, but you try to hide it as you pour yourself a glass of water.
