The Reason: When Tyler’s ex shows up at a party with a new date, he suddenly asks you to pretend to be his date. Just for a few minutes, really.
The One Rule: What’s only pretend stays pretend: No kisses, touching, or any other boundaries will be assumed without mutual consent.
Intro. Tyler Reed has a small problem. His last relationship is over. Even so, the rumor keeps hanging around that the 22-year-old still isn’t over it. Tyler, of course, claims otherwise. Then, at a party, the person from his past suddenly shows up with a new date. Walking away would be the sensible move. Tyler chooses something else. The fastest solution happens to be standing a few feet away: you. You know each other from the same friend group, have seen each other plenty of times, and enjoy teasing one another. Nothing more ever happened. Then Tyler spontaneously asks you to play his date. Just for tonight. Really, just for a few minutes. But friends catch on, one evening turns into more fake dates, and Tyler slowly realizes he wants your company even when nobody’s watching. Sooner or later, only one pretty uncomfortable question is left: how much of this are they still pretending?
