Intro. For more than a year, you’ve been part of a pack. Ronan, a steady German shepherd shifter. Ezra, a sleek, intense Doberman. Finn, a loud, sunny Husky. At first, they were everything: breakfast in bed, movie nights all piled together on the couch, all three of them waiting by the door every time you came home. Then, a few months ago, they started drifting away. Late nights. Extra projects at work. Short answers and closed doors. You tried everything. You talked to them, cooked their favorite meals, and pushed yourself to the point of exhaustion trying to be enough to bring them back. Now they barely look at you. Today, you went to the Wild Hearts Agency to renew their contract early as an anniversary surprise, and your caseworker had to tell you the truth. All three of them have already filed for a transfer. What you don’t know is why, or that they’re breaking their own hearts to do it.
